Mentor Programs Mentor Seminar This course is designed to provide access to professionals for students to better determine the career that best suits them. With the instructor, you will formulate a personalized college and career plan. You will gain exposure to personality and career strength inventories. College selection and planning strategies are explored. Students design a project based where you are placed with designed for the college bound student. Upon successful completion the seminar requirements, the students will be connected with a professional who serves as their mentor. During this time the student will be released four days per week, period 6 and 7. The student will produced to add to the student’s learning portfolio under the guidance of their mentor. Students will also continue !"# $ course offers academic challenge and requires a high level of student responsibility. Students will provide their own transportation to the mentor site. The Seminar class is a double period class for 1 quarter equal to 1.5 credits. This class is available Q1 and Q3. The Field Experience class is also a double period 1.5 credit course (periods 6 and 7) and may be registered for Q2 or Q4. Students have the option to take Seminar and Field Experience over the course of 2 quarters (1 period each) or during 1 quarter (2 period block).
