Transportation of Persons Other Than Students
1.
District Employees - District 196 employees are permitted to ride school
buses for official purposes only.
2.
Others
2.1
People other than students are permitted to ride school buses only with the
consent of the principal or designee.
2.1.1 A written request for a person to ride a school bus must be submitted in
advance to the principal each time the person wants to ride the bus.
2.1.2 Individual requests shall be approved or disapproved by the principal only
after determining the availability of space on the bus.
2.1.3 The principal shall provide the bus driver with an initialed copy of any
approved requests.
2.2
Riders will only be allowed to be picked up or dropped off at existing
District 196 bus stops.
