Registration Information
Discounts
Early Bird Discount Subtract $2 from each class fee if your
registration reaches us or is postmarked by March 25, 2015.
Exceptions include aquatics, adult cooking, adult crafts and arts,
ed2go, tours, ed2go, or classes with special discounts or otherwise
noted. Enter promo code EARLYBIRDS15.
Senior Adults age 55 and older, may take a 10% discount on
some classes. Exceptions include dance, language, tours,
cooking, computer, ed2go and craft classes or otherwise noted.

UCare Minnesota members may take a $15 discount on some
classes. UCare ID number must be included on the registration form.
Tuition Assistance is available for District 196 residents. Apply for
assistance by calling 651-423-7920 for enrichment or 952-431-8777
for aquatics classes.
Refunds
Enrichment classes and tours
• Full refunds will be made if your class/tour is canceled due to
low enrollment, or if the class is filled before we receive your
registration.
• Refund requests received at least five working days prior to class
start date qualify for a refund. Refund requests received with less
than five working days receive account credit only. All refunds are
subject to a $10 processing fee and any costs incurred (supplies,
food, tickets).
• Refunds are not issued after class has begun.
Aquatics lessons and programs
• Cancellations at least five working days prior to first class will
receive program credit, less $10 processing fee. Program credit
may be used for any family member.
• Cancellations fewer than five working days prior to start and up to
mid-point will receive program credit for half the class cost, less a $10
processing fee. No refunds or credits issued after mid-point of class.
• Refunds for Red Cross courses will be subject to a processing
fee; $25 for WSI, LGI, Lifeguarding, $10 for all others.
Inclement Weather/Other Emergencies
If District 196 schools are closed for the day, all daytime and afterschool Community Education activities are canceled. A decision about
Community Education evening activities will be made mid-afternoon.

Photograph & Videotape Permission
Enrollment in District 196 Community Education classes or activities
constitutes permission for District 196 to take and use photographs,
video and other likenesses of you and your enrolled minor child in
District 196’s promotional materials and publications. If you do not
wish for the image and likeness of you or your minor child to be
used in this manner, contact the communications department at
