General
The International Graduate Studies (IGS) in Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry at the University of
Siegen offer a two-year Master’s course (M.Sc.) in chemistry with the possibility to specialize in nano- and
microchemistry, building materials chemistry, polymer chemistry or other modern branches of chemistry.
A subsequent Ph.D. study (Dr. rer. nat.) is possible for excellent students.

Financial Requirements
243.20 EUR (Semesterbeitrag) per semester for public transportation ticket and student activities
80 EUR per month for health insurance and 500-700 EUR for living and housing
Financial Support
A few teaching and research assistantships paying up to 400 EUR per month are awarded on the basis of
academic excellence
