1. Subphylum Crustacea
• only group of arthropods that is primarily aquatic
• examples: crayfish,lobster,shrimp, barnacles,
isopods (pill bugs), crabs (not horseshoe)

• Claws inject poison into prey (predators!)

Yellow spotted Millipede
• No poison claws: Herbivoresl/ detrivores
• TWO pairs of legs per segment
