Fish “Reverse” Dissection You will work with a partner to build a fish model out of play dough using pp. 764 and 765 You should finish this in class on Friday (5/11) Due: Monday 5/14/12 Step 11. Make play dough a. 1 white “cup” of flour b. 1 clear “cup” of salt 2. VERY slowly add water until it is the consistency that you want. a. Start with a tiny amount of water. b. It is hard to go back. c. If you should add too much water, add flour and salt (2:1, flour : salt) to dry up dough. 3. Mix contents in mixing bowl until it is the consistency you want. 4. Store all left over play dough in a zip-lock bag. Step 21. Build your fish on top of a small piece of cardboard using the diagrams on pp. 764 and 765. 2. Build the exterior, profile, of your fish first. 3. Label all exterior structures. 4. Build the internal anatomy of your fish. a. You may color the organs/structures using paints, markers, food coloring, etc. b. Store balls of colored play dough in zip lock bag. 5.
