Biography Jeffrey D. Urbach, MBA, CVA, CFE, CPA/ABV/CFF, has over thirty years’ experience in financial forensics, divorce taxation, business valuation, and general accounting. Jeff has been qualified in NJ courts as an expert witness. He is on the NJ Judicial Roster of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law. Also trained in Collaborative Law, he is a founding member of the Mid-Jersey Collaborative Law Alliance and The New Jersey Council of Collaborative Practice Groups. Mr. Urbach is a Senior Instructor for NACVA (National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts) for which he has authored, co-authored, and continues to teach courses specific to Matrimonial Accounting—Forensics, Taxation, and Business Valuation. Mr. Urbach is a contributing author to Family Law Services Handbook: The Role of the Financial Expert published by John Wiley and has been published in The Valuation Examiner, The American Journal of Family Law, and the New Jersey Bar New Jersey Family Lawyer. Mr. Urbach received his BA from Temple University in 1973 and his MBA from Rutgers University (MBA in Professional Accounting) in 1975. He is the founding partner of Urbach & Avraham, CPAs, LLP, in Edison, NJ.
