He obtained his PhD in Accounting and Finance from George Washington University. Dr. Lohrey worked as a research analyst for the Office of Economic Analysis at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for 2 years while completing his Doctoral dissertation. He was also an adjunct professor at George Washington University, teaching in the MBA program for 6 years. Dr. Lohrey worked for Arthur Andersen, LLP in their Washington, DC office after completing his graduate studies. His work focused on business valuation, commercial damages, and complex claims. He also worked in the Baltimore, MD office of PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to obtaining his PhD. More recently, he was a Director in the Forensic Accounting and Litigation Support Department at McGladrey, LLP in New York, NY. Dr. Lohrey is a former Naval Aviator who specialized in Anti-submarine Warfare and Intelligence Collection during his 10 years of service. He is an active researcher who has published in several academic and professional journals such as: The Business Journal for Entrepreneurs, American Journal of Family Law, The Value Examiner, International Journal of E-Business Research and Credit & Financial Management Review
