o Be sure to include the effect of Barbed Wire fences on Range Land.
o List at least 5 pressures being placed on Range Land.
o List and describe the effects these pressures will have on Range Land, especially in Northern
Colorado.

If it is not grown or extracted, it is probably mined.

o List and describe effects each type of mining has on the environment, especially gold, coal and
aggregate (sand & gravel).
o Explain what a mineral is and list at least 8 minerals mined in Colorado.

o Analyze the article on page 216 of the blue Environmental Science text and summarize it.
