Kaitlin Silar, Choir Director
Ms. Silar is thrilled to be in her third year
as Director of Choirs at Fort Collins High
School. She directs A Cappella, Women’s
Choir, Men’s Choir, Concert Choir, Tower
Singers and Women’s Jazz. She also
directs the annual FCHS musical and
serves as the LINK Crew Coordinator for the school.
Ms. Silar received her Bachelor of Music Education degree with an
emphasis in Choral, Piano and General Music from the University of
Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. While at UNC, Ms. Silar had
the privilege of singing in the UNC Concert Choir under the direction of
both Dr. Howard Skinner and Dr. Galen Darrough.
In addition to her position at FCHS, Ms. Silar also serves as the
Assistant Director for Centennial Children’s Chorus. Ms. Silar is
grateful to be teaching in Poudre School District and is blessed to be
part of such a talented FCHS staff!
