Duration & Venue
The duration of the CEP is two days. The CEP will be
conducted on 6th & 7th of April 2013. The sessions of
programme will be held at Conference hall of Vidya
Pratishthan’s College of Engineering, Baramati.

industry is a vital need. The Continuing Education
Programme (CEP) at IIT Bombay has been set up to meet
the manpower training and knowledge upgradation
needs of the industry.

About Resource Person
Professor (Dr.) Suneet Singh is currently working as a
Assistant Professor in the Department of Energy Science
& Engineering, IIT Bombay since 2009. He joined IIT
Bombay in October 2009 as Assistant Professor. He has
completed his Ph.D in Nuclear Engineering: from
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He has
numerous experiences of conducting graduate as well as
postgraduate courses in Power Generation and Systems
Planning, Heat and Mass Transfer. His research interest
mainly includes Nuclear reactor thermal hydraulics and
safety, Analytical solution of multilayer heat conduction
problems.

This Program basically focuses on fundamentals of
“Nuclear Power Generation”.

Course Fee
The fee for the CEP is Rs. 2000/- (for Industry Personnel,
Faculty) and Rs 1000/-(for PG Students)per participant.
The fee includes the CEP registration, high tea, working
lunch, certificate and course material. Total participants
restricted to 25.
