Duration & Venue
The duration of the workshop is of two days. The workshop
will be conducted during 26th and 27th September 2014. at
Conference hall of Vidya Pratishthan’s College of Engineering,
Baramati.
Accommodation
Accommodation on sharing basis is available in institute guest
house /hostel for limited number of participants on an
advance request & payment.

VPCOE has student centered institutional development as a
motto and committed to pursue academic excellence to
develop a student with comprehensive technical knowledge
and integrated personality.
VPCOE is a Remote Center of IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur
under the National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD,
Govt. of India), through which more than twenty workshops
and five CEP’s were organized during last two academic years.
Around 2000 students and faculty members of VPCOE &
surrounding institutes were benefited from these workshops.
VPCOE is also recognized as a center for the project Quality
Enhancement in Engineering Education (QEEE) by IIT Madras
and MHRD Govt. of India.
About the Resource Person
Dr. Tarun K. Chandrayadula
Dr. Tarun K. Chandrayadula received the B.Tech. degree in
Electronics and Communication Engineering from University of
Madras in 2001, Master’s and Ph.D degree from George
Mason University, Fairfax, VA in 2003 and 2010 respectively.
Post Doctorate from National Research Council post-doc at
Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA in 2013. His
research interests mainly include Signal processing,
Underwater acoustics, Propagation modeling

Dr. Monika Aggarwal
Dr. Monika Agarwal received the B.Tech. degree in Electrical
Engineering and the M.Tech. degree in Electronics and
Communication Engineering from the Regional Engineering
College, Kurukshetra, India, and the Ph. D. degree from the
Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India, in 1993,
1995, and 2000, respectively. She was employed with Hughes
Software Systems (HSS), Gurgaon, India from 1999 to 2002.
During 2001 she was a visiting researcher in the Dept. of
Systems and Control, Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden.
Her research interests mainly include Digital signal processing
with applications to array signal processing. Underwater
acoustics and communication.
This workshop is most beneficial for PG students, faculty
members & researchers from the field of signal processing.
Certification
Certificates will be awarded by ISTE Chapter VPCOE Baramati
to the registered participants after successful completion of
the workshop.
