In the case of Student Organised Internships, students should also include a personal statement demonstrating a proven interest in the work and mission of the organisation; for example, through elective units undertaken, extracurricular activities or work experience. I acknowledge that applications are to be submitted four (4) weeks before the internship departure date. This is to allow processing of the application by the Faculty of Law and Monash Abroad. Applications after this date are at risk of not being processed. The application for a refund must be submitted to the International Programs Officer in writing with a full explanation. (Where non-refundable deposits have been made, it is at the discretion of the Director International to waive refund of these costs). Co-operate with the Faculty in publicising my involvement in the program undertaken and in sharing information, as appropriate, about the internships and its outcomes.
