WHEREAS: Women Empowered is requesting registration; and
WHEREAS: They estimate around 5 members, but have talked to 20-plus members; and
WHEREAS: This group is interested in helping women in business in a variety of professional
ways, but it is open to everyone; and
WHEREAS: The group wants to bring some speakers and already has a few in mind; and
WHEREAS: This group has an extremely organized leadership structure; and
RECOGNIZING: This group meets all requirements; and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED:That Women Empowered be granted registration by the
Northern Iowa Student Government.
