Brief Biography
Dr Mike Bewick is Medical Director at NHS North of England and Deputy Medical Director, England.
Mike previously worked at NHS Cumbria, where was PCT Medical Director from 2008. He has
worked in both the acute and primary healthcare sectors, based in medical oncology until 1987 when
he moved into general practice as a GP in Egremontin, West Cumbria.

Mrs Anne Crick is a retired NHS manager with 25 years experience of both secondary and
community care. She is Chair of Trustees for Hull churches ‘Home from Hospital’ service, a charity
offering free social care for older patients discharged from hospital, support services for carers,
telehealth, and support for the children and families of people with cancer.

Maggie Whitlock has over 40 years experience in the NHS which includes general and cardiothoracic
intensive care and theatre experience, infection control in secondary care and the community, and

masters degree in nursing practice.
Tim Savage is Finance Director for the NHS England North and has 12 years experience as a board
level director in commissioning organisations covering finance and other portfolios. Tim has worked
