Advanced Course (paraeducators may use their paid employment for Field Experience hours)

Requirements to apply for Advanced certification: 1) Generalist certification; 2) completion of EDU-810 Field
Experience; and 3) AA degree or 62 approved college credits.
 Requirements to register for EDU-810 Field Experience: 1) 2.5 cumulative GPA; 2) completion of Exploring
Teaching; and 3) completion of Developmental or Educational Psychology.
 Students cannot register for Fld Exp on their own; must apply. Contact Doug Van Oort at Kirkwood.
