Value-added Business Application Cases

Battery Management System

BTS battery management system manages the battery strings, including checking the operating state of the battery string or cell, checking whether there is any fault battery cell in the string, checking the historical discharging curves of the battery string or cell, comparing the historical discharging curves, performing the discharging tests, as well as checking the backup time of the batteries. The system provides the basic information to the BTS generator dispatch management system.

Generator Dispatch Management System

The generator dispatch management system is used to dispatch the generator automatically to the BTS with utility power failure. It can dispatch the mobile generator automatically, according to the following parameters:

 Power failure lasting time  Weather condition

 Battery string discharging time  Generator power

 Generator travel time  BTS category

It can also provide some important reports on the generator's use ratio and coverage percentage, according to some subject knowledge such as the mathematic probability. The system strongly supports the equipment rooms such as mobile communication BTSs to improve the ef fi ciency of the generator, increase the utilization ratio of the generator source, reduce the dispatching times and startup times of the generator, guarantee the communication power supply, save the energy, and reduce emission load.

Energy-effi cient Thermal Management

System

The energy-ef fi cient thermal management system manages the thermal units and free-cooling system, including checking the current states of the energy-ef fi cient equipment, controlling the energy-ef fi cient equipment in On/Off state remotely, checking each signal of the cooling equipment and controlling the cooling equipment remotely. The intelligent platform of the system has the soft PLC function, according to the environment temperature, it can properly utilize the cooling unit and free-cooling system so that the cooling system operates in economic mode all the time, thus reducing the power consumption which results in energy savings.
