Industrial-Organizational Psychology Certificate: Two elective courses from MGMT 3919 and 3187 were
dropped because they are no longer offered.
Psychology M.A. Clinical Science: 6408 dropped and replaced with 6416 and 6417 so that credit hours awarded
when students are performing required off-campus practicum hours.

CURRICULAR CHANGES, identifying the relationship of the proposed changes to other planning
processes (i.e., Academic Program Review, Student Outcomes Assessment, strategic planning, and
licensure or accreditation/re-accreditation requirements). Explain how you know these changes are needed,
based on those planning processes. (e.g., Based on what we learned through assessing our _____ learning
goal for the major, showing that we needed more emphasis on _______, we are restating the major to add
some possible electives and change the required core from 9 to 12 credits with the addition of a newly
created core course.)
The restructured major organizes the curriculum around core content that we should be able to continue to deliver
around staffing changes. It is a simpler structure than our current major and provides more flexibility with course
offerings while meeting APA guidelines for the undergraduate psychology major.
The Certificate in Military Psychology is an interdisciplinary certificate within CSBS providing a credential for
individuals interested in working on personnel issues within the military.
