-Juniors: I highly recommend that you visit the college campus you plan on attending for the Fall of 2016,
sometime throughout your junior year.
-Juniors/Sophomores: Plan on attending our local college night events. The representative at the booth
will usually be the person making the decision about your admission. Ask questions about their programs,
and what kind of ACT score, overall GPA, and academic courses they are looking at for admission into
their college.
-Juniors/Sophomores: Keep up your grades. Colleges will be looking at your 9th, 10th, and 11th grade
grades when making their decisions.
- Scholarships that are offered to high school seniors are looking for: academic classes, good grades,
school involvement with sports and or clubs, test scores, and volunteer activities. Several will ask for 3
letter of recommendation from past or present teachers, and once in a while will ask that you write a 500
work essay about your future goals.
