CLASS –T.E(CIVIL) AT SITE
The department of Civil Engineering, Vidya Pratishthan’s College of
Engineering organized a one day educational visit to Water treatment Plant at
Sayali Hill, MIDC-Baramati. on 1st March 2013 for T.E Civil Engineering students.
Visit was organized as per Pune university guidelines and recommendations
regarding syllabus of T.E Civil Engineering .
Visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of honorable
principal of VPCOE,Baramati Prof. Dr. S.B.Deosarkar by the initiative and hard
efforts of class teacher of T.E Civil Prof. D.G Patil, Prof. C.R Nayak & Prof.N.R
Bhosale along with non-teaching staff members Mr. H.V. Gaikwad accompany &
guide the students during visit.
Students leave the college for visit on 1st March at 2.30 pm.In the Water
treatment plant, students carefully study and observe the complete purifying
process of Treatment of Water specially used for Drinking purposes. Mr. Bhunje
were the Chief Engineer gave valuable guidance during the visit and gave the
satisfactory answers to different questions raised by students.

After visit to pre decided site, students were come back to VPCOE Campus
with staff members. Visit seems to be very informative and gives good learning
experience.

Educational visit to Baramati Water Treatment Plant-MIDC organized by
Department of Civil Engineering was very informative. The site we visited
are considered to be very important projects. The guiding staff both college
staff as well as site staff was very supportive to all students.
We hope that this visit will help us in our future practical life and bring
a positive change in our thinking and practical behavior regarding
Education and specially Engineering. We, the Students of T.E Civil
Engineering are extremely thankful to Honorable Principal of VPCOE,
Baramati, Dr. S.B Deosarkar,Staff coordinator Prof.C.R Nayak & Prof N.R.
Bhosale. HOD Civil Engineering Department. Prof. G.N Narule,all teaching
