Chandrayadula Dr. Tarun K. Chandrayadula received the B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from University of Madras in 2001, Master’s and Ph.D degree from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA in 2003 and 2010 respectively. Post Doctorate from National Research Council post-doc at Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA in 2013. His research interests mainly include Signal processing, Underwater acoustics, Propagation modeling Course Contents This Program basically focuses on fundamentals “Underwater Acoustics and Signal Processing” of Need for Underwater Signal Processing Basics of underwater communication and challenges Shallow and Deep water communication The noise background of the sea Design aspects and predictions of SONAR System Who May Benefit Dr. Monika Aggarwal Dr. Monika Agarwal received the B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering and the M.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra, India, and the Ph. D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India, in 1993, 1995, and 2000, respectively. She was employed with Hughes Software Systems (HSS), Gurgaon, India from 1999 to 2002. During 2001 she was a visiting researcher in the Dept. of Systems and Control, Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden. Her research interests mainly include Digital signal processing with applications to array signal processing. Underwater acoustics and communication. This workshop is most beneficial for PG students, faculty members & researchers from the field of signal processing.
