Burlington Hawk Eye, IA 05-16-06 Master conservationist program set for July The Des Moines County Extension Office, conservation boards of Des Moines and Louisa counties and Iowa State University Extension will sponsor a master conservationist program from July 11 through Aug. 19. Classes will meet from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays. There will be one Friday class from 5 to 9 p.m. and two Saturday classes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Class size will be limited to the first 25 registrants. Participants who complete the course will receive certification as a master conservationist intern. Registration fee for the course is $75.
