VEISHEA ROCK, PARTICLE JAM
Plans are firming up for free Veishea concerts during the student celebration at
Iowa State University in Ames. Three outdoors stages will present bands April
22. Full lineup TBA, but rock band Cross Canadian Ragweed has announced
itself as a performer alongside Robert Earl Keen.
Also in Ames, Los Angeles jam band Particle returns to People's Bar & Grill for
an April 11 show with opening act That One Guy. Tickets cost $15 and go on
sale at noon Friday through www.iowatix.com or at People's.
