ISU Football Player Appears In Court
Coleman Pleads Guilty To Being In Bar Underage
DES MOINES, Iowa -- An Iowa State University football player said he's not
guilty of assault.
Greg Coleman appeared in court Monday morning on two charges. He entered
a guilty plea to being in a bar underage.
Coleman was also charged with assault for his involvement in a fight at an Ames
bar on Jan. 29. A trial date has been set for March 21.
Police said that another football player was also involved in the same fight.
Durrell Williams was charged with assault causing injury.
Both players have been suspended from the team.
