Charges Dropped Against ISU Player
Coleman Is Back On Team
DES MOINES, Iowa -- A case against an Iowa State University football player
has been dismissed.
Greg Coleman had pleaded not guilty to assault charges stemming from a fight in
January at an Ames nightclub.
The Story County attorney asked for the charges to be dismissed.
Coleman was accused of shoving another man as he waited in line to use the
restroom.
Coleman's teammate Durrell Williams is facing charges in connection with
punching the same guy.
Coach Dan McCarney had suspended Coleman, but he is now back on the
team.
