Congratulations! Credit in High School at Kirkwood Community College has been
awarded National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP)
Accreditation.
We are pleased to inform you that the NACEP Board of Directors voted on April20,
2012to accredit Credit in High School at Kirkwood Community College based on the
recommendation of the Accreditation Committee Chair. Accreditation decisions are
reached after a comprehensive peer review by a team of experienced representatives of
NACEP-accredited concurrent enrollment partnerships. The review team determined
that the evidence submitted demonstrated that Kirkwood Community College's Credit
in High School meets all of NACEP's national standards for concurrent enrollment
partnerships. Enclosed is a Certificate of Accreditation and a copy of the review team's
final report.
NACEP accreditation status is conferred for seven years; Kirkwood Community
College's Credit in High School should plan to reapply in 20L8 in order to complete
the re-accreditation process before the current accreditation term expires at the end of
the academic year 2018-19.

In order to preserve NACEP accreditatiory Kirkwood Community College is
responsible for maintaining NACEP Postsecondary Institutional membership and for
continuing the implementation of all practices identified in NACEP's standards. The
Accreditation Committee requires all accredited programs to complete an Annual
Report of activities, which will be sent to you in August.
If your progam should undergo any substantial changes in policy or practice before the
end of the accreditation term, please confer with the NACEP Accreditation Committee
Chair.
As a Postsecondary Institutional member of NACEP with an accredited program, the
following benefits and privileges are available to Kirkwood Community College:

An opportunity for representatives to serve on the NACEP Board of Directors
