NetSure™ 5100 for hybrid applications is designed for
full flexibility with plug-and-play capability for rectifiers,
solar converters and DC-DC converters, making it an
ideal solution for on-grid, bad-grid and no-grid sites.
Description
The NetSure™ 5100 Series for hybrid applications provides a compact 48 volt DC
power solution, featuring 2000 W high-efficiency eSure™ rectifiers, 2000W MPPT solar
converters and a multi-function battery and distribution unit. The integrated power
solution is available in a number of configurations, and includes support for an open
port enabling wind and DC generators.
The NetSure 5100 subrack can also be equipped with 24VDC converters with
distribution, which provides a platform to manage the transition from legacy 24VDC
radio equipment to -48VDC radio equipment.
The distribution supports 2 A to 300 A circuit breakers, configured for load (-48VDC
and +24VDC option) and battery. With the support of up to 3 LVD levels, service-load
prioritization will enable reduction in battery investment.
Application
As telecommunication networks change and expand, so too must the infrastructure
that supports it. That is why the NetSure™ 5100 Series DC power systems are designed
for full flexibility with a shelf that can support rectifiers, solar converters in any slot, as
well as 24VDC converters in designated slots. The availability of the open independent
DC port further simplifies the integration of alternative power-energy sources.
The high operating temperature (+65 °C) in conjunction with high operational
efficiency has a positive impact on climate system dimensioning in outdoor enclosure
applications and makes the system suitable for harsh conditions.
