GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES (GLP) AND RACIAL & ETHNIC STUDIES (RES) REQUIREMENTS
Of the total 120 credits required for the Food Science and Technology degree program:
6 must be from courses approved as fulfilling the Global Perspectives requirement; and
6 must be from courses approved as fulfilling the Racial & Ethnic Studies requirement.
These credits may be completed through appropriate selection of coursework from the General Education categories, the FST Major
Studies category, or the Electives, Minor, or Student-Designed Concentration category. Students planning to study abroad should refer to the application materials and consult with their advisor to see how courses taken abroad satisfy the GLP and RES requirements.
