Remote Access to MCC Online Databases
For Students
In order to access the online databases off campus:

You must be currently enrolled at Maple Woods or other MCC campus

You must know your student ID number
There are two ways to access online databases.
Through the Library web site:
1. Go to Maple Woods Library web page at http://mwlibrary.mcckc.edu
2. Click on “Databases” tab in list just below “Maple Woods Library”
3. Click on database needed - login and password screen will appear
(If prompted, you must accept cookies)
4. Your login is your student ID number with ‘S’ in front of it
Example: S0000000
5. Your password is your myMCCKC password
Through the portal:
1. Go to any MCC web page.
2. Click on myMCCKC on the far right in the blue bar.
3. Sign in by entering your UserID (your student ID number with ‘S’ in front
of it) and your password.
4. Click on “Online Databases” under Library Homepage on the left.
5. If this is the first time you are using databases through the portal, you will
be asked to enter a login and password. If so, see steps 4 & 5 in the first set
of instructions.
