Add solar energy to NetSure™ DC power systems
equipped with ACU+ controller.
Description
Add solar energy to an existing NetSure™ -48V DC power system equipped with an
ACU+ controller by integrating Solar Sub Racks from Emerson Network Power. The
control and management of the solar converters (S48-3000) in the sub rack is
achieved by the ACU+ controller via CAN bus.
Application
The Solar Sub Rack Extension is intended for telecom sites in the access and
transmission network to provide an alternative energy source (solar energy) to the
existing grid connection or battery/diesel generator hybrid. Savings in electricity
and diesel fuel costs can be achieved by operating on solar energy during the
daylight hours.
