WAYS YOU CAN SERVE Steering Committee The Executive committee was organized in 2009 to oversee on-going projects and maintain contact with ZTK Alums and Actives and the LMU Campus. • Two-year commitment (minimum) • Decision making by consensus; “meetings” by email (a “must” for this committee), telephone and/or correspondence • Responsible for annual reunion, treasury and fund raising, newsletter and general communications, recruitment for alumni awards, general contacts with campus and with the ZTK actives, target issues and projects to strengthen ZTKAA/ ZTK Working Committees Zeta/Sigma Activities. Sigma alumni and actives are at work on an alumni directory with the possible goal of holding joint reunions and/or organizing an alumni group. Zeta House. This is the residence of the ZTK actives. Campus housing has given the “go ahead” to pursue shortand long-term needs for furnishings and equipment Reunion Fundraiser(s). ZTKAA contributes to the Alumni Board with items for the LMU Homecoming Silent Auction and raises dollars for other ZTKAA/ZTK needs. Honoraries and Appreciation. Honorary membership is extended to “friends of ZTK”. The committee also presents certificates of appreciation to persons who have supported our goals and proved helpful in achieving those. ZTKAA is the only Sorority with an alumnae website that displays such items as our directory and newsletters. The LMU Advancement Office challenged ZTKAA to nominate members for the Halls of Fame and for both Alumnus and Volunteer of the Year. Committee encourages worthy nominees and facilitates preparation of nomination materials. Sunshine. The responsibility of this committee is to communicate a sense of caring to members who have suffered loss or illness. Other Committees can be formed to meet identified needs. All committees are open to additional members. Your time, talent and support will make valuable additions to ongoing efforts.
