DESCRIPTION:
Inventor 2012 is replete with a variety of functions designed to help users construct their
parts. This assignment requires students to become an expert on one of these functions.
Students will be assigned one of the following topics in two-person teams, learn how to
perform the function, and create a lively demonstration to be presented in class.
2. Revolve
3. Sweep
6. Rectangular or Circular Pattern
7. Fillet and Chamfer
8. Shell
10. Trim
11. Split
DELIVERABLES:
1) A five minute or less in-class demo of your team’s topic
2) Any parts needed for your demo must be completed and loaded in their entirety on a flash
drive PRIOR TO your demo time.
3) Your team must completely show how to perform your assigned function using Inventor.
Simply explaining the topic is not acceptable, as many students learn by seeing the function
performed.
