DESCRIPTION:
Understanding work conducted by colleagues is an important part of an engineer’s job.
For this exercise, you will conduct an interview with the student researchers in the
various facilities pointed out in class. This interview will be conducted by the teams of
four.
Prior to conducting the interview, think of questions you want to ask the
researchers.
You will then compose a professional email to your bosses (instructor and TA) describing
the research and recommending it be continued or stopped.
Consider this research
effort is worth $50,000 to the company and your bosses are depending on your
evaluation to make their decision.
DELIVERABLE:
1. At least three questions in your notebook prior to the interview.
2. A two-three paragraph professional email (written in the notebook). The format,
grammar, and spelling will be considered as well as the content.
