Clearwater National Forest Title text herePlant and Pollinator Garden Native FY10 Native Plant Material Accomplishments The Clearwater National Forest will be developing a native plant pollinator garden at Musselshell Meadows. Non-monetary accomplishments for 2010: • Due to staffing changes, there is a new project leader as of August 2010. • Added the Clearwater RC&D as a partner • Obligated money for project • Met with Orofino High School representative, Forest botanist, and volunteer . • Chose a garden location • Developed a garden plan which will be implemented in 2011. • Conducted a class field trip to project site with Forest Botanist and project leader. Using FY10 NFN3 funds we purchased the following: • Purchased nitrogen, phosporous, & potassium soil test kits for use at the garden site by the Orofino High School environmental science class. .
