CHAPTER 10 – BUILDINGS AND RELATED FACILITIES
7312 - PLANNING
7312.1 - Plans. Site plans must be kept current to accurately portray buildings, utility systems,
parking areas, etc., as constructed on the site.
The following procedures will be followed in keeping the "as-built" plans up-to-date.
1. Each field unit shall maintain one set of site drawing prints which shall be designated as
"current as-built".
2. Annually by December 1, "current as-built" prints shall be submitted to the Forest
Supervisor for reprinting. If no changes have occurred, a memorandum to that effect will
suffice.
3. Request for approval of changes on the site shall include a copy of the site plan with the
proposed change clearly indicated.
Example of proposals requiring approval are as follows:
a. Additions, deletions, or changes in water and sewer systems, road systems, parking
areas, and electrical services.
b. Changes in clearing, grading, and drainage.
c. Placement of additional structures.
d. Changes of plant material on an approved landscape plan.
After review, the site plan shall be returned to the unit with the designated action. If the proposal
is approved and after work is completed, the unit shall accurately survey and draft the change on
the "current as-built" print.
Other changes on the site, not requiring approval, shall be accurately documented on the "current
as-built" print by the unit as the changes occur and then submitted at the time of the annual
update.
4. Appropriate surveying tools shall be used to gather field data for recording changes.
Distances and elevations shall be measured from appropriate reference points.
