OUTFITTER-GUIDE FLAT FEE USER DAY SYSTEM
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1 -- DECEMBER 31, 2011
FOR THE HELENA, LEWIS & CLARK, LOLO, AND FLATHEAD NATIONAL FORESTS
The four National Forests surrounding the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex (the Helena, Lewis & Clark, Lolo, and Flathead) are all
on the same flat fee system. The Forest Service is required to adjust outfitter/guide fees by the IPD-GDP (Cumulative Implicit Price
Deflator--Gross Domestic Product) inflation adjustment each year. The following table reflects the flat fees charged for 2010 adjusted
by the 2011 IPD-GDP factor of 0.6% to arrive at the fees shown below for the 2011 season.

Includes boat/canoe/kayak/raft use, horse trail rides, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, dog walking, snowshoeing, rock climbing,
dogsledding, car touring, hiking, education classes, sightseeing, picnics, wagon rides, mountain biking, etc.
Region 1 Livery/Short Stop Fee = $2.00/client (set in R1 2709.11-2004-4 Sec. 37.21c(3)). Can be redetermined on a case-by-case basis.
Livestock Grazing Fee = $1.35/AUM for 3/1/2010 to 2/29/2011.
$ tba /AUM for 3/1/2011 to 2/29/2012 (per FSM 2238.6).
Minimum Fee for Outfitter/Guide Permits 2011-2013 = $ 95.00.
Fee for Assigned Camp Sites 2011-2013 = $ 190.00.
Unauthorized Additional Use = Charge 1/3 greater (133%) than applicable rate (per FSH 2709.11 Sec. 37.21f).
