This authority includes recruitment, appointment, placement, and other change and separation actions; health benefits and group life insurance; suitability actions; conflict of interest determinations; fitness-for-duty examinations; and the other authorities specified in 6104.1 -
Exhibit 02: a. All general schedule positions through GS-12 and all special authorities, such as
YV, YW, GG, etc.; b. All Federal Wage System positions, including WL and WS.
2. Special Provisions. a. No Employment Officer may approve an action on him/herself or on any person who is in direct line of supervision above him/her, except as provided in DPM 277. b. When exercising delegated employment authority, you will sign correspondence and personnel actions over the title, "Employment Officer." c. This delegated authority will remain in effect until it is withdrawn in writing, or until you leave the jurisdictional area or until you leave the position to which you are currently assigned. d. This authority may not be redelegated.
