Delegation of Authority Related to Approval of Timber Sales District Rangers are delegated authority to serve as the responsible official for NEPA compliance for projects involving timber sales up to the volumes listed in the following table. As the responsible official, these individuals are delegated authority to make and implement a decision on a proposed action (36 CFR 220.3). This delegation is to the named individuals and may not be re-delegated.
