Responsibilities include: 1. Maintain a directive system that provides current, clear, continuing instruction governing Forest Service programs and activities. 2. Review all Forest supplements prior to publication. 3. Assist personnel in preparation of Forest supplements. 4. Maintain control over the coordination, issuance and distribution of Forest supplements. 5. Maintain control over the distribution of Washington Office and Regional Office directives. 6. Evaluation of Forest directive system procedures. Based on district mission, the District Ranger will appoint a District Directive Manager. Responsibilities include maintain the Forest Service directive system required for the efficient operation of the Ranger District.
