Subpart A-General Provisions
What definitions Sensitive Personal Property. The agency Property apply to this part? Management Officer is the only position that can determine what property is considered sensitive property.
The agency Property management Officer has determined that for the forest Service the following are sensitive items:
(1) All weapons (including, but not limited to, those used for law enforcement, cone collection, avalanche control, flame launcher, and bear protection);
(2) All radiological equipment having a radioactive source;
(3) Precise Positioning Service (PPS) Global
Positioning System (GPS) receivers capable of receiving
P (Y) code broadcast from the Department of Defense
Satellite Constellation; and
(4) Federal Excess Personal Property (FEPP). All motorized vehicles (including, but not limited to, snowmobiles, all terrain vehicles, dirt bikes, and motorcycles.
