(b) Approval for Copying Equipment
(2) Field Offices. Authority to approve acquisition of office copiers is redelegated to
the Director of Information Systems.
This authority is further redelegated to Forest Supervisors to approve the acquisition of any
duplicating or copy machines for their offices or District offices. This approval is contingent on
the Forest preparing a detailed analysis to determine the most cost-effective copier for any given
office. This analysis should compare at least three or four available copiers which offer the
needed features.
