MLA style is used primarily in the humanities (Literature, History, Languages, the
Arts). References on a “Works Consulted” page should be arranged alphabetically
by the author’s last name or by the title if no author is given. The format for
entries is as shown in the examples below.
Book:
Brown, Lester R. Eco-Economy: Building an Economy for the Earth. New York: W.W. Norton,

Book (two authors):
