Description
Designed specifically for broadband applications, the CATV90AC provides a flexible, economical alternative for smaller remote hub sites.
The CATV90AC is designed to withstand the most severe environmental conditions, providing maximum protection for your expensive broadband equipment, such as, lasers,
modulators, and RF components. The off-white cabinet is equipped with environmental temperature control for optimum equipment efficiency. The main chamber of the
CATV90AC has been thoroughly tested against dust and water intrusion, and is designed
to meet Telcordia GR-487 and GR-4650 standards.
The CATV90AC has four isolated chambers. The AC power chamber contains a 100A rated
load center, and a 100A transfer switch with generator receptacle for emergency connection. The splice chamber contains two cable ports for fiber entrance, and one 19,000 BTU
air conditioner. An optional second air conditioner can be installed in the power chamber
for redundant cooling.
The main chamber of the cabinet has four 19/23 inch equipment racks for broadband
and power equipment. Swing-out racks are available as an additional feature. The battery
chamber is the final compartment, which can hold up to two slide-out battery trays. One
tray is standard and the other tray is available as an option.
