Company Description:
Orthotec is a rapidly expanding company that specializes in orthotic fabrication and footwear, as well
as various other sports medicine products. We provide biomedical gait assessment, technical footwear
fitting, and sports/occupational injury brace fitting for our customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
 Provide frontline customer service and reception
 Conduct inventory control and ensure all supplies are stocked
 Perform filing and other administrative tasks as needed
 Write educational materials for online and in-house use
 Fitting sport and occupational injuries braces
 Selling athletic and first aid supplies
 Providing administrative support to the Pedorthic staff
 General store maintenance
 Point of Sale transactions
Requirements/Qualifications:
 Experience in retail sales, shoe fitting, and/or customer service
 Kinesiology/Health Science education an asset, particularly KIN 241 and KIN 326
 Athletic training an asset
 Interest in sports medicine and health sciences, and desire to help people and educate others
on how to better care for themselves
 Athletic injury management and musculoskeletal knowledge
 Self-motivator who thrives in a multi-tasking environment where customer relations are the
number one priority
 Must be able to work on Saturdays
