As part of our ongoing efforts to become an Employer of Choice, our University is committed to a major reassessment of our current classification and compensation program. This is the first of a series of communications that will provide you with important information about this exciting project. The Classification and Compensation Project will focus on benefits- earning Administrative and Staff positions and will require the review of approximately 2,800 positions. It is anticipated that a project of this magnitude will take 18-24 months. The preliminary objectives of the CCRP are to: Redesign the classification and compensation program to best serve the changing needs of the University. Update and enhance the classification structure. Formulate job specifications in line with best market practices consistent with industry standards. Enhance the ability to attract, retain and/or motivate staff in a current competitive environment. Support management in achieving the University’s strategic objectives.
