CSE4/542 – Fall 2003 Resume: Due: Tuesday 9/9/03 Create a “set” of Resumes to be provided to the “customer.” (And shared with the members of your team.) These documents provide the customer with an understanding of the individuals on the team. These will be provided to the customer along with your team inventory. While a resume is normally an advertising vehicle, this one needs to focus on your strengths to your teammates and to the customer. Assume that your manager will use this resume when deciding upon assignments. In other words, do not say you have "experience with" a language that you have only read about but never written a program in. Include something about your technical and communication (writing and presentation) skills. Include relevant work experience or coursework. Format: There is NO standard format for a resume. Use whatever will best present a picture of who you are. However, this should be a professional document, not something thrown together at the last minute. It MUST be typed. Unless you have significant work experience, try to limit your resume to 1-page. Most people stop paying attention after a page. If you have never put a resume together before, talk to other members of your team. The resumes and team inventory will be viewed as a package. Presentation counts!
