NFHS college credit requirements for the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs In order to receive a letter grade from the University of Colorado for completion of an NFHS online course, college credit applicants are required to submit a paper to meet the course requirements. Once you have completed the online portion of the NFHS course and registration for college credit through UCCS you will need to do the following: 1) Describe in your essay how the personal and/or professional knowledge acquired by taking the NFHS course can be applied in the field. 2) Include specific examples. 3) The paper should be between 350 and 400 words. 4) Submit your paper to the course instructor of record, Priscilla Engeln, at pengeln@uccs.edu. If you’re not able to submit your paper via e‐mail, contact Mrs. Engeln for a mailing address. 5) Submit your paper via email within two weeks of completing the online portion of the course. 6) Make certain that your paper references the NFHS course title.
