Lights still on despite coal strike and Winter cold snap. For every 1
degree Centigrade drop in temperature, demand rises by 600-700 MW
during peak time.
City of CT tariffs approved by new Council at 19.94%
Dept Public Works reviewing draft ‘green building framework’ including
a rating tool for public buildings developed with GBCSA.
Despite lack of clarity on govt’s Renewable Energy procurement,
appetite still there. Renewable energy half of world’s installed new
