Here are four views of the shape. © MEI 2009 Teachers’ notes Links to plan, elevation and isometric drawing. • Follow up could include students making their own shapes, drawing view from the top and elevations then giving the drawings to another student to see if he/she can make the shape. • Students could use isometric drawing to make an answer sheet for the shape they have made so that the student trying to make the shape from the top view and elevations can check if he/she is right. • Can students make the shapes just from the top view and elevations without being told how many of each colour cube to use?
