Total time is 90 mins A 2 mark question should not take more than 3 minutes and certainly not cover more than half a page 4 Know the rubric Final answers should be given to a degree of accuracy appropriate to the context. Usually 3 or 4 significant figures. Never more!! You are advised that an answer may receive no marks unless you show sufficient detail of the working to indicate that a correct methods is being used. 5 Understand the structure of a question A mark is a mark and a “harder” question does not necessarily attract more marks. 6 Be kind to the examiner and to yourself by setting out your work neatly and logically The book is free to the candidate!
